This Is Spinal Tap

(1984) is a pioneering, improvised mockumentary directed by Rob Reiner that satirizes the absurd excesses of heavy metal bands, following the fictional English group Spinal Tap on a disastrous US tour. It is widely considered a cult classic, famous for its quotable dialogue and deadpan humor.
